Listen to Alvvays’ Ethereal New Single, “Dreams Tonite”
Images via Ardin Wray, PolyvinylDream-pop quartet Alvvays have shared another new track, “Dreams Tonite,” from their forthcoming album Antisocialites. The band’s sophomore record is due out Sept. 8 via Polyvinyl.
The album’s title comes from the airy new single, which is the second song Alvvays have released in advance of their new LP, the first being “In Undertow.” The new single is filled with chorus-induced guitars and frontwoman Molly Rankin’s pensive lyricism. “So morose for me, seeing ghosts of me, writing oaths to me,” Rankin sings. “In fluorescent light, antisocialites watch a wilting flower.”
