Anderson .Paak has shared the second single from his forthcoming album Ventura, titled “Make It Better.” The track features legendary soul singer and label executive Smokey Robinson. “Make It Better” is a smooth, soulful R&B tune about working to build a relationship from the ground up. The single also comes with a video by Grammy-nominated director Andy Hines that shows Paak and his love interest wandering through London’s Kensington neighborhood.
.Paak’s last album was 2018’s Oxnard, which boasted a star-studded cast of features from Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Q-Tip, Pusha T, J. Cole and Sonyae Elise. He released the first single from his Oxnard followup Ventura back in March, the upbeat, jazz-inflected “King James.” Ventura is out April 12 on Dr. Dre’s Aftermath Entertainment label.
Paak is also embarking on an extensive “Best Teef in the Game Tour” behind the album this summer with help from a few of his talented friends, including Earl Sweatshirt, Thundercat, Noname, Mac Demarco and Jessie Reyez.
