Arlo Parks Teams Up With Phoebe Bridgers on New Single “Pegasus”

“I think it’s special / ‘Cause you told me,” Arlo parks sings over and over on her new song “Pegasus.” The track is the fourth single from her highly anticipated sophomore LP My Soft Machine. You might recognize the other set of vocals harmonizing throughout the track. Calling upon her good friend Phoebe Bridgers, Parks crafts one of her most-blissful and gentle tunes yet. Coming off of her Grammy-nominated debut album Collapsed in Sunbeams, she remains an electric force at the intersection of indie, hip-hop and R&B. On “Pegasus,” Bridgers provides support in the melodies, but it’s Parks who steals the show. And, as My Soft Machine continues to unfold upon its release later this month, it’s clear that the album is a special benchmark in her artistry.
