Listen to The B-52s’ Zonked-Out Cover of the Squidbillies Theme

We’ve written a lot about the slew of artists covering the theme song to Adult Swim’s Squidbillies over the last few weeks.

Father John Misty made it a honky-tonk country song, Kurt Vile turned in a finger-picking good rendition and now, Georgia’s very own B-52s have done … something.

In music genre terms, it’s sort of a psychobilly/surf-rock mashup. In normal terms, it just sounds downright uncomfortable.
