Beach House Share Eerie “Black Car” Visuals

Beach House released 7, their seventh studio album, in May and on Monday, they shared the visuals for “Black Car.”

The video’s concept is simple: It follows—you guessed it—a black car as it drives around town in monochrome. It doesn’t have a driver or any passengers. Oh, and it’s raining outside. The video is eerie and moody to match the brooding nature of the song.

The “Black Car” video was directed by Alistar Legrand, brother of Beach House vocalist Victoria Legrand. Legrand has directed two previous Beach House videos: “Silver Soul” and “Heart Of Chambers.”
