Baltimore duo Beach House released on Tuesday the opening track to their forthcoming album 7, titled “Dark Spring.” The third single to be released off their new album, “Dark Spring” follows the band’s Valentine’s Day release, “Lemon Glow,” and their second single “Dive” in early March.

The conceptual “Dark Spring” music video reminds us of an experimental college film as sporadic, black-and-white images of angry cats and starlit computer monitors are cut between the duo’s opaque silhouettes.

Zia Anger, director of the music video, describes the project as “a very organic thing made with a lot of people (who are also filmmakers), that I love and trust. An anomaly in process.”

Beach House are now getting ready for their extensive world tour, kicking off on April 30, at The Signal in the “River City,” Chattanooga, Tenn. The group’s seventh full-length record, 7, is currently available to preorder before its May 11 release through Sub Pop Records, Bella Union (Europe) and Mistletone (Australia / New Zealand).
