Last November, Thea Gustafsson, known to many as Becky and the Birds, released her self-produced debut album, Only music makes me cry now, via 4AD. Now, the Swedish experimental-pop musician has returned with a brand new track, “Should’ve known better (choices).” But first, she and her band went on tour and, during their stop in New York City before a Nublu 151 gig, captured some day-in-the-life photos for us here at Paste. First day in NYC and I was tiiiiired. But since this was my first time back since 2020, I had to go out and explore… No rest for the wicked.
