Big Star’s Third – Full Session

Big Star’s Third Ensemble is the orchestral reimagining of Big Star’s seminal 1978 album Third, featuring none other than the band’s original drummer, Jody Stephens. Stephens and Chris Stamey (also of The dB’s) stopped by Paste and Daytrotter’s digs at Same Sky Productions to perform a few tunes, including “Blue Moon,” “The India Song,” “Thirteen” and a busked version of “I’m in Love With a Girl.” Watch the set here.
