Blink-182 to Perform Enema of the State in Full Throughout Upcoming Tour

You can party like it’s 1999 with Blink-182 and Lil Wayne, on tour starting next month.

Blink-182 have announced they will play Enema of the State in full at every single stop on their North American tour with Lil Wayne. The move is part of the band’s celebration of the 20th anniversary of their breakout album that includes hit singles “All the Small Things,” “Adam’s Song” and “What’s My Age Again?”

The full-length is hailed as a raucous amalgam of crude jokes and pop-punk anthems that laid the foundations for Blink-182’s continued legacy.

Also part of the anniversary revelry is limited-edition merchandise inspired by the classic 1999 album. Blink-182 have released an anniversary capsule stuffed with dad hats and skate decks inspired by the iconic and influential tracks of Enema of the State. We’ll take one of everything, please.

You can peruse the merch market here.

The rumor mill was already running wild after bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus tweeted a picture of his Pepto Bismol pink bass alongside a setlist.

Blink-182 took to Instagram earlier this week to ask fans to share their own Enema stories and tell the band what the record has meant to them.

“20 years ago today in a galaxy far, far away ….Enema of the State was released and forever changed our lives,” the post read. “Thanks to you, it took our band places we never could have dreamed of going. And it was a ton of fun! Share your stories about Enema. Tell us about the first time you heard it and what it means to you.”

Among countless fan responses, one fan wrote, “Adam’s song saved my life.” Another said, “No other album has defined me as a person as much as Enema of the State. It literally changed my life. I will be forever grateful to blink-182.” Yet another said, “If you’re born between 1985-1993 there’s no excuse for this to not be in your top 5 all time favorite albums.”

Not an Enema fan? Well, Blink-182 will also be playing new music and hits from other albums on their upcoming run, as well. Blink’s latest is 2016 LP California.

Blink-182 hit the road next month—you can find their tour dates and watch the band perform “All the Small Things” circa 1999 below. Check out the band’s latest tour poster further down and find out how to get your hands on tickets here.
