Hear Bob Dylan Perform Cuts from Another Side Of Bob Dylan, Released 55 Years Ago Today

Bob Dylan’s fourth album Another Side of Bob Dylan, released 55 years ago today, marked the end of Dylan’s first era. His first four albums took cues from the folkie leanings of his idol Woody Guthrie, but by 1965, Dylan was in a different musical headspace. Bringing It All Back Home, released a year after 1964’s Another Side of Bob Dylan, was Dylan’s first venture into electric rock ‘n’ roll, even if it was only on half of the record.

Though Bringing It All Back Home was something of a breakthrough for Dylan, Another Side of Bob contained some of Dylan’s most-celebrated tracks like “It Ain’t Me Babe,” “All I Really Want To Do” and “Chimes of Freedom.” To celebrate the 55th annivesary of the album, we dug up a few Dylan live performances of Another Side album cuts.
