Watch Bon Iver and Moses Sumney Team up to Cover Sade at Bonnaroo

Among them was Bon Iver, who took the stage for not one, but two unique sets. For his after-midnight set, he brought a number of special guests out onstage with him. Among those guests were Sylvan Esso, Francis Farewell Starlite of pop project Francis and the Lights, a Marjory Stoneman Douglas student, and indie-soul singer Moses Sumney.
Sumney joined Vernon onstage for a rendition of Sade’s Lover’s Rock anthem “By Your Side” and yes, it’s just as good as you’re expecting. Watch the performance and check out a 2008 Bon Iver performance from the Paste archives below.
