Bon Iver Cancel European Tour Dates, Appearance on A Prairie Home Companion
Photo by Cameron Wittig & Crystal QuinnThis morning Bon Iver sent out a notice across their social media accounts and email lists informing fans that they are cancelling their upcoming European tour, which was scheduled to begin with a show in Paris on Jan. 22. Citing “personal reasons,” the band also noted that Justin Vernon’s scheduled appearance on Chris Thile’s recently revamped A Prairie Home Companion would no longer be taking place.
While Vernon and co. made it clear that the canceled dates were not set to be rescheduled at this time, they offered their “deepest apologies” to all of their fans and assured those who were disappointed, “We will be back.”
We here at Paste hope all is well in the Bon Iver camp, and look forward to their return to playing shows. Ticket buyers looking for refunds can find them at the point of purchase.
