Bon Iver Announce Blood Bank 10-Year Anniversary Reissue, Release First Track

Bon Iver’s 2009 EP Blood Bank will get a 10-year anniversary reissue, complete with a live recording of each track featured on the EP.

The first of the live tracks, “Blood Bank” from Stockholm’s Ericsson Globe on Halloween 2018, was released today (Jan. 21) on YouTube. The audio recording comes complete with an animated version of the reissue’s cover art.

Although the EP was technically released 11 years ago, Bon Iver were performing songs from Blood Bank on their arena tour for their most recent album i,i in 2019, which will now extend until November 2020 with a new slew of European tour dates.

Bon Iver are currently nominated for several Grammy Awards for i,i, including Album of the Year, Best Alternative Music Album and Best Recording Package. “Hey, Ma” is also up for Record of the Year.

The Blood Bank reissue will be released on March 27 via Jagjaguwar on CD, LP and digitally. You can preorder the EP here.
