Brittany Howard, Hayley Williams, Hozier and More to Perform for ‘Love Rising’ Benefit Concert

Love Rising, a benefit concert held by Live Nation at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, will raise money for LGBTQIA+ organizations such as Tennessee Equality Project and Inclusion Tennessee. The concert is a response to the state’s anti-LGBT legislation which includes Senate Bill 3 and House Bill 9: banning drag performances from any public property where anyone under the age of 18 could be present. Other laws involve oppressive measures for transgender treatment and surgery for minors.

The concert will be held on March 20 with a star-studded lineup of artists like Allison Russell, Jason Isbell, Brittany Howard, Hayley Williams, Hozier, and Julien Baker. The proceeds of the concert will go to the aforementioned organizations, with The Looking Out Foundations doubling contributions up to $100,000.
