Broken Bells, the collaboration between Danger Mouse and James Mercer of The Shins, have shared “Shelter,” their first new song since 2014.

The track comes after the pair had teased new music over the summer with in-studio pictures shared on their newly reactivated social media accounts—a press release describes their forthcoming new album as a “work in progress.” “Shelter” follows 2015’s “It’s That Talk Again,” the last song the duo made together. Their last album was 2014’s After The Disco.

This is just one of a few projects Danger Mouse has taken on this year, including producing Parquet Courts’ Wide Awake! and making a collaborative album with Karen O of Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
