As we announced in full recently, Brooklyn Brewery’s Mash tour is hitting the road again in 2016, with stops in nine world cities, including London, Stockholm, Chicago, Philadelphia, Paris, Washington D.C., Boston, Austin and New Orleans.

Next in the series is Austin, Nov. 10-13. As in every other iteration of The Mash on this tour, the festivities will be broken up into multiple events structured around a full weekend, celebrating themes of exploration and discovery.

Dinner with Friends at Italic — Nov. 10 at 7 p.m.

Brooklyn Brewery Chef Andrew Gerson will be teaming up with Italic Chef Andrew Curren to create a night of rustic Italian cuisine and (of course) Brooklyn Brewery beer. This one-night-only family style menu will feature experimental beers alongside inventive cuisine, and is built for “exchanging bites and comparing notes.” The menu will include:

Fritto Misto of Local Vegetables
Roasted Mushroom and L’ottavio (cow’s milk cheese from Piedmont, Italy) Pizza
Bacatini Amatriciana
Dandelion Angolotti with Speck Brodo
Braised Short Ribs, Roasted Chicken and Rustic Potatoes
Chocolate Budino

That menu will be supplemented with rare “Ghost Bottles” from the Brooklyn Brewery reserve, including the likes of Galahad (a strong Belgian golden ale aged on cider lees in bourbon barrels) and Kiwi’s Playhouse (a sour ale aged on kiwis in bourbon barrels). Reservations are open now.

Free Show From Lee Fields & The Expressions — Nov. 11 at 7 p.m.

Timberland is presenting a free show from soul icon Lee Fields & The Expressions, with openinjg support from both Amasa Hines and Mama K and The Shades. The show will begin at 7 p.m. at The Mohawk, 912 Red River Street. Naturally, there will be a full bar stocked with plenty of Brooklyn Brewery beer.

Beer Mansion – Nov. 12 at 5 p.m.

Beer Mansion is the craft beer cornerstone of each Brooklyn Mash, an experience that combines beer from both Brooklyn and each host city. Ditch the long lines and fluorescent lights for an immersive room-by-room journey through the world of beer, complete with food, live music, games, prizes, and a handful of surprises. Your $25 ticket will get you access to beers from Brooklyn and a handful of Austin guest breweries, along with food, music, games and much more. For more information and to purchase your ticket, click here.

Guest breweries for Austin include Independence Brewing Company, Hops & Grain, Austin Beerworks, Last Stand Brewing, and Blue Owl Brewing. Live music will be provided by Sounds Del Mar and Darkbird, with food from local restaurants and Cholula Hot Sauce.

Neighborhood Immersion: East 6th Street – Nov. 13 at 1 p.m.

The key event in each Mash’s “exploration” theme is the Timberland-sponsored Neighborhood Immersion, which in Austin will focus on the East 6th Street neighborhood. HQ is the Timberland and Brooklyn Brewery Trailhead, a pop-up bar and shop where participants will receive a bundle of coupons for deals at various restaurants, bars and shops in the neighborhood. The whole adventure costs only $20, and includes:

– Lunch at either Waller Creek Pub House, Kebabalicious, or Hi Hat Public House
– Beers at Rhino Room, Wright Brothers Brew & Brew, Grackle, The Liberty and Rio Rita
– VIP hookups at Gelateria Gemelli, Encore Records, Practice Yoga Austin, and more

Tickets for the Neighborhood Immersion are available here.
