Bruce Springsteen Announces Album of Unreleased Material to Accompany His Autobiography

Bruce Springsteen first announced his autobiography Born to Run back in February. The Boss has just revealed that he will be releasing an 18-song album titled Chapter and Verse to “reflect the themes and sections” of the book, according to a recent press release. The album is set to feature five unreleased songs detailing The Boss’s expansive career.

Chapter and Verse is slated to be released on Sept. 23 via Columbia, while Born to Run is set for a Sept. 27 release. The book has reportedly been in the works ever since Springsteen’s 2009 Super Bowl performance with the E Street Band.
