Cardi B Announces Her Debut Album, Invasion of Privacy

The Bronx-native queen herself, Cardi B, is set to release her highly anticipated debut album. After a string of hit singles, including “Bodak Yellow,” “Bartier Cardi” and a feature on Migos’ “Motorsport,” as well as a pair of Grammy nominations, the young rapper from New York announced late Monday her much-anticipated album, titled Invasion of Privacy.

Fans of Cardi B won’t have to wait too long to get their hands on the rap goddess’ new album. Invasion of Privacy, being released via Atlantic Records, is set to drop next week on April 6. Cardi B announced the album over Instagram on Monday night, along with the brightly colored album cover.

The artist was the focus of a Rolling Stone cover story last year, in which she spoke about what worried her in regards to her new album, saying in the interview, “It’s not as fun to do music … My mind doesn’t flow as free ‘cause I have so much on my mind.”

Cardi also took to Twitter on Tuesday to address fake tracklists and share her nervousness about her debut album’s release.

Again, Invasion of Privacy is set to release on April 6 via Atlantic. In preparation for the new album, revisit Cardi B’s recent appearance on Jimmy Fallon alongside Erykah Badu right here.
