Dance Your Heart out to These Two New Carly Rae Jepsen Tracks

Hear ye, hear ye: Our dear Canadian queen Carly Rae Jepsen has released two new stellar tracks, and they both deserve a listen right this instant.

Jepsen released “Now That I Found You” and “No Drug Like Me” Wednesday via School Boy/Interscope Records, and both songs are hypnotic, love-fueled and beat-driven. “Now That I Found You” is a modern club banger while “No Drug Like Me” is a synth-heavy, rumbling slow burn with an intoxicating chorus.

In comparison to Jepsen’s last single, “Party For One,” these two songs are less about loving yourself and more about sharing that love with another.

“’Now That I Found You’ is about the high you get when a new love starts to change your life,” said Jepsen. “It’s like the rush, rush, rush is better than any drug. Which leads me to ‘No Drug Like Me’ which is a promise I made to love in general. That when the good stuff lands my way I’ll always try to be vulnerable and brave and show all of myself—‘If you make me feel in love then I’ll blossom for you.”

“Now That I Found You” was produced by the collective Captain Cuts, comprising Ben Berger, Ryan McMahon and Ryan Rabin (of Grouplove). “No Drug Like Me” was produced by John Hill and Jordan Palmer. Jepsen’s forthcoming album will be released later this year.

You can (and should) listen to the songs below.
