Carole King’s Tapestry still sits among the greatest albums ever made. Her classic second album will celebrate a historic anniversary next year—50 years since its original release. The album was released on this day (Feb. 10) in 1971, and to celebrate its birthday, we’re sharing audio from a 1993 Carole King concert, where she performed several selections from Tapestry.

Yesterday (Feb. 9), King also celebrated her 78th birthday, so it’s the perfect time to share this concert. This show took place on Sept. 14, 1993 at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady, N.Y., and King performed flawless, soaring renditions of Tapestry classics plus songs from her then-new album Colour of Your Dreams.
