Chance the Rapper Led Thousands of Chicago Fans to Vote
Photos by Joshua MellinNot one to shy away from driving social activism, Chance the Rapper led thousands of Chicago fans to vote last night following his free block party/concert, Parade to the Polls.
Organized by the Chicago MC’s non-profit Social Works, the show featured Malcolm London, Twin Peaks, Chance’s brother Taylor Bennett and Lil Chano himself, who also performed at a Cleveland rally for Clinton this past weekend. To cap off the event, Chance trooped a crowd of voters from Grant Park’s Petrillo Music Shell to Washington Street’s super site, setting a Cook County early voting record in the process.
