Chance the Rapper has premiered the short film for “Sunday Candy,” one of the tracks taken from the forthcoming album with Donnie Trumpet & the Social Experiment, Surf. The Social Experiment has served as Chance’s backing band on tour, and they plan to release Surf for free later in the year. The short film comes months after the single itself was released, and was written by Chance himself and directed by Austin Vesely.
The film features incredible choreography set on a moving stage and follows a cleverly-arranged narrative arc that actually finds “Sunday Candy” worthy of its tag of “short film.”
