We were on the scene at the second of Chappell Roan‘s multi-night residency at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens. Accompanied by hemlocke springs, Chappell’s Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things Tour is full steam ahead right now, and she’s playing her debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, in full, along with her big singles: “The Subway,” “The Giver,” and “Good Luck, Babe!” She also broke out a cover of Heart‘s “Barracuda,” which she sang with Nancy Wilson herself. Though the wait for Chappell’s second record has already been too long, her commitment to putting on a banger show is enough to satisfy the cravings… for now. I can’t remember the last time a pop star reached a level of stardom like this with such little material to perform, but Chappell is already on the A-list with just seventeen songs to her name (she doesn’t bother with the School Nights EP stuff anymore). Watch out, world.

Our good pal Emilio Herce was on the scene at capturing the action. Check out his gallery below.
