The month of May is looking to be a big one for Charly Bliss. From releasing their second full-length LP to touring the globe with CHVRCHES, Emily Reo and PUP, the rockers are making waves in indie scenes and beyond.
At a recent tour stop at The Garage in London, lead singer and guitarist Eva Hendricks announced her band would cover the indie-rock classic “Mr. Brightside.” She encouraged fans to dance and sing along.
With their signature fervent electric guitar riffs and Hendricks’ infectious vocals, the cover from Charly Bliss is the meeting point of classic grunge and indie-pop.
The sophomore album from the Brooklyn-based group, Young Enough was released on May 10 via Barsuk Records. It is rising to acclaim on multiple Billboard charts, as seen in this recent tweet:
