If you needed another reminder that Chris Stapleton is making the most moving country music of today, today he released a video to drive that point directly into your heart. “Fire Away” was already a sad song, but it gets downright shattering when paired with a story of a man’s once-happy wife devolving into depression and suicide. He’s at the bar drinking away the pain, and you’ll be at your computer weeping along.
