Watch the Kristen Stewart-Directed Video for CHVRCHES’ “Down Side of Me”

Today, Planned Parenthood’s fundraising album, 7-inches for Planned Parenthood, just released a new collaboration: a Kristen Stewart-directed music video for a live version of CHVRCHES’ Every Open Eye track “Down Side of Me.” The video is shot in close-up, featuring CHVRCHES frontwoman Lauren Mayberry behind some detailed images of her hands.

Thematically, the song revolves around Mayberry’s perceived need to only present herself sans the “down side” of herself. 7-Inches for Planned Parenthood features an undeniably impressive lineup, including CHVRCHES, Mary J. Blige, Margaret Atwood, Sarah Silverman, Jenny Slate, Sleater-Kinney, St. Vincent, Feist, Elliott Smith, Margaret Cho, John Legend, Tig Notaro, Bon Iver, Pete Holmes, Bjork, Common, Foo Fighters and Mitski.
