Watch Courtney Barnett Play Through Tell Me How You Really Feel in Atlanta’s Piedmont Park

Back in May, and just a few weeks shy of her new album’s (Tell Me How You Really Feel) release, Australian rocker Courtney Barnett played Shaky Knees Music Festival in Atlanta, Ga. We had the pleasure of witnessing her set, wherein she expertly but nonchalantly cranked out a number of fan favorites and new tracks alike. While she was in town, she also delivered a (very under-the-radar) performance of her entire new album in the city’s landmark Piedmont Park. Previously, the clips were Apple Music-exclusive, but now the entire park party is available to stream on YouTube. Keep scrolling to watch all 40 minutes.

In the videos, Barnett and her band play through the whole album with the Atlanta skiline as their only witness. From the looks of it, this was a private shoot, but that means filmmakers had all the space they needed to provide some very cool aerial and 360-degree footage. We’re not sure where all those amps are plugged in, but they obviously work wonders.

Barnett tweeted a preview of the performance and offered her take on the intense Georgia heat, which we can confirm is, indeed, “stinkin’ hot”:

Barnett also shared two Spotify singles this week. Check out her renditions of her own track “Charity,” and Elyse Weinberg’s “Houses” right here.

Again, you can watch the entire park performance below, or visit Barnett’s website for a streamlined listing of the videos. Further down below, watch Paste footage of Barnett playing “Elevator Operator” at South by Southwest circa 2015.
