Watch Dave Grohl Sit in on Trombone Shorty Set, Perform Nirvana’s “In Bloom”
It's only the second time Grohl has performed the song since Kurt Cobain's death

Dave Grohl joined Trombone Shorty onstage over the weekend at Shorty’s Voodoo Threauxdown Festival for a rare rendition of Nirvana’s “In Bloom.”
The concert was at the Greek Theater in L.A., and featured Shorty and the other members of his band trading horn solos while Grohl wailed on the set with head-banging, hair-tossing ferocity. It’s only the second time Grohl has played “In Bloom” live since Cobain’s death in 1994.
