Devendra Banhart Announces North American Fall Tour

Devendra Banhart has announced an upcoming North American fall tour, set to span 23 cities over a three-month period.
His first tour of North America since 2017, Banhart will begin in Ventura, Calif., and make stops in Seattle, Brooklyn and Toronto, among others. Portland-based musician Black Belt Eagle Scout will join Banhart on the latter half of the tour.
Banhart has partnered with PLUS1 to donate $1 from every ticket sold in the U.S. to World Central Kitchen, a non-profit serving meals to victims of natural disasters and humanitarian crises.
Banhart did not reveal any plans to release new music in anticipation of the tour.
Banhart has had a busy spring. He released an album of various musicians’ demos he curated titled Fragments du Monde Flottant in March, a book of ink drawings titled Vanishing Wave in April and his first book of poetry, Weeping Gang, Bliss Void, Yab Yum, that same month.
