Disclosure Postpone Festival to Work on Third Album
Photos by John Phillips/Getty, Neilson Barnard/GettyIn an Instagram post on Thursday, EDM sibling duo Disclosure announced that they were not headlining their annual Wild Life Festival, opting instead to work on their third album.
Despite canceling this year’s festival, the duo promised they would be back in summer 2019. In the post, Disclosure stated, “ … With a busy recording schedule ahead as we embark on album number 3 we’re going to give the green grass of Shoreham airport a break through 2018 and come back bigger and better in 2019.”
Howard and Guy Lawrence released their breakout album Settle in 2013, following up with Caracal in 2015. In February 2017, they tweeted a note saying that they were “going to be taking some time out and enjoying some much needed rest”—it appears their time out is over.
Disclosure fans and EDM enthusiasts might not be able to participate in one of the genre’s biggest festivals this year, but new Disclosure music is on the horizon, so that should soothe everyone for the time being.
