Drake Drops from the Billboard Hot 100 For the First Time Since 2009
Photo by Michael Loccisano/GettyAs reported by Billboard, Drake has ended his unprecedented eight-year (or 431-week) reign on the Hot 100. The multi-hyphenated superstar had at least one song on the chart since 2009, when “Best I Ever Had” entered on May 23 of that year.
To everyone’s surprise, Drizzy was not present on the latest Hot 100, with “Passionfruit” slipping from the 81st spot and “Signs” dropping from the 100th.
As one Twitter user points out, Drake is in a particularly dull situation at the moment, with two of his public crushes—Rihanna and Serena Williams—hooking up with billionaires, which may cause him to revert back into classic Drake mode.
drake fell off the charts… rihanna snatched a billionaire… serena got married to a billionaire… take care 2 is coming https://t.co/vzQrZuNkpJ
