Drake Reunites the Degrassi Cast for “I’m Upset” Video

Most Drake fans know that he didn’t necessarily start from the bottom … he started as Jimmy Brooks on Degrassi.

In his new video for “I’m Upset,” Drake invited back his Degrassi: Next Generation co-stars for possibly the best high school reunion ever. After Jimmy—who apparently underwent some intense physical therapy, because he is no longer in a wheelchair—and his high school best friend Spinner (Shane Kippel) casually pull up to their old school in a Ferrari, we are met with a ton of familiar faces, including Lauren Collins (Paige), Nina Dobrev (Mia), Melissa McIntyre (Ashley), Jake Epstein (Craig), Adamo Ruggiero (Marco), Andrea Lewis (Hazel), Stacey Farber (Ellie), and even Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith.

Classic Degrassi-esque hijinks ensue in the video, directed by Karena Evans. Fights break out, people are having sex everywhere, Jay and Silent Bob are selling weed to Principal Snake, and Rick (aka the kid who shot Jimmy in one of the show’s most iconic episodes) is getting chased down the halls.

Doing whatever it takes to make us forget about that Pusha T beef, Drake also announced that his forthcoming album Scorpion is set to drop on June 29, along with sharing a teaser image on his Instagram.

See that image and enjoy the nostalgic reunion of one of the best high school shows of all time in the “I’m Upset” video below.
