Chart-topping Toronto rapper Drake has said he is currently working on his next mixtape.
The rapper’s fourth album Views came out this past April to critical and commercial acclaim. Views also follows the singer’s pair of high-profile mixtapes he released in 2015, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late and What a Time to Be Alive.
The artist is currently on his Summer Sixteen tour with his WATTBA collaborator Future. At Drake’s recent stop in Kansas City, he riled up audiences by teasing the new album. “I want you to protect yourselves and each other,” Drake said. “When I go and work on this new mixtape and come back to Kansas City and I drop that shit, I wanna see everybody in this motherfucker, boy!”
