Drake is Being Sued by Producer Detail for Alleged Assault

Meek Mill might not be Drake’s biggest adversary anymore. Rapper and producer Detail has filed a lawsuit against the Canadian rapper and singer for an alleged assault from 2014, reports TMZ.

According to the suit, Drake offered Detail a job as his exclusive producer, but Detail rejected the offer, upsetting Drake. Drake later invited him to his home under another invitation to work together months later, but when Detail arrived at 2 a.m., one of Drake’s bodyguards, Chubbs, broke Detail’s jaw and threatened him.

“I will beat all your asses, including your bitches,” shouted Chubbs, according to the suit. “I don’t give a f—. I will hit you again. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake’s a punk?”

Detail claims that Drake planned the beating because of his previously held grudge over Detail rejecting his offer. Previously, Drake and Detail collaborated together in 2013 on Drake’s album “Nothing Was the Same,” with Detail working on tracks “Own It” and “305 to My City.” Detail also produced Beyoncé’s “Drunk in Love,” which won a Grammy.
