Explosions In The Sky Announce New LP, Share "Ten Billion People"

Explosions In The Sky have announced their seventh studio album, their first in seven years. End is out September 15 via Temporary Residence. The album announcement is accompanied by the release of its opening track “Ten Billion People,” a soaring instrumental song nearing seven minutes in length. Explosions In The Sky have long dabbled in experimental and post-rock, and “Ten Billion People” sets the stage for their most exploratory phase yet. Cyclical guitar riffs and bold piano strikes make the piece cinematic, a nod to the group’s ever-expanding film and TV scoring catalog.
