Watch Father John Misty Sing a Song for Ousted FBI Chief James Comey
Well, this’ll give those Pizzagaters something to talk about.
Last night, after President Trump abruptly fired FBI Director James Comey in the middle of the FBI’s investigation into the Trump administration’s ties to Russia (ironically citing Comey’s handling of Hillary Clinton’s emails as reason for his termination), Father John Misty —whose Pure Comedy stands as the best album of the year so far and who, for some reason, deranged conspiracy theorists believe to be connected to Pizzagate—posted a video of himself singing about Comey’s dismissal while feasting on a slice.
“James Comey was fired, in the month of May,” he sings. “James Comey was fired from the CIA.” (As he explained on Twitter, “CIA rhymes.”)
