FIDLAR have shared “Can’t You See,” the second single off their newly announced album Almost Free, out Jan. 25, 2019, through Mom + Pop Records. The track follows previous single “Too Real,” released in September.
“Can’t You See” is a more relaxed groove, if only in comparison to the incendiary screed that is “Too Real.” Where that song was an anxious and angry state of the union address, “Can’t You See” addresses matters more interior. Singer Elvis Kuehn said in a statement that the song “is about believing you need external things to be fulfilled, when really that comes from within yourself.” As a result, the song is less frantic, more searching, a tune made for a night-time drive with plenty to think about. Fittingly, Kuehn shares the sentiment: “Play it loud while driving around Los Angeles and it’ll make sense.”
FIDLAR will be playing a host of shows this fall with Dilly Dally and Side Eyes. Find the full list of dates, along with the album art and tracklist for Almost Free, further down
