Flying Lotus Shares New Track with Anderson .Paak, “More”

Musical multi-hyphenate Flying Lotus has shared another new single from his forthcoming album Flamagra. The track is titled “More” and it features vocals from Anderson .Paak, whose soulful singing is a natural match for FlyLo’s lush funk composition. Somehow the two LA-based artists have never collaborated before, and “More” grants .Paak entry to a club of past FlyLo guests that includes Kendrick Lamar, Thom Yorke, Erykah Badu, Thundercat and Snoop Dogg.

Flamagra will be Flying Lotus’s fifth full-length album and his first since 2014’s You’re Dead! It arrives May 24 through Warp Records, and features contributions from .Paak, George Clinton, Solange, Toro Y Moi, Tierra Whack, Thundercat and Shabazz Palaces. FlyLo has already released several singles from the album, including “Spontaneous,” “Takashi” and “Fire is Coming,” the last of which featured filmmaker David Lynch.

Flying Lotus has also announced a North American tour behind Flamagra that kicks off in August. Watch the surreal video for “Fire is Coming” and check out his full list of tour dates below.
