Updated: Frank Ocean Announces First Blonde Live Shows

The highly elusive Frank Ocean has announced his first live performances since 2014 in support of Blonde. It appears that Ocean will spend a bit of time on the European festival circuit next summer, headlining both Danish fest NorthSide on June 9 and London festival Lovebox on July 14. According to Lovebox, Ocean will make two U.K. festival appearances next year.

Ocean alluded to the upcoming live dates in an interview with Pitchfork earlier this month, explaining the need to carefully track album sales and streaming, as it helps him “in conversations about where we’re gonna be playing shows.” With the two live show announcements arriving within hours of each other, one can only hope that more will follow in a time frame less suspenseful than the release of Blonde.

Update: As Consequence of Sound reports, Ocean has added a handful of U.S. music fest headlining slots to his 2017 tour dates, including an unconfirmed performance at New York City’s Panorama Music Festival. Find Ocean’s current slate of tour dates below.
