Ben Gibbard, Aaron Dessner, Julien Baker, More to Perform at Memorial Show for Scott Hutchison of Frightened Rabbit
Proceeds from the concert will benefit the newly established Scott Hutchison Fund
Photo by Mark Metcalfe/GettyFrightened Rabbit have announced a memorial concert for their late lead singer Scott Hutchison, who passed away in May of this year. The concert, titled “Tiny Changes: A Celebration of the Songs of Scott Hutchison,” will take place at Rough Trade NYC on Wednesday, Dec. 5. Friends of Hutchison who will be performing include Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie, Julien Baker, Aaron Dessner of The National, Craig Finn of The Hold Steady and Kevin Devine.

All proceeds from the concert will benefit the newly formed Scott Hutchison Fund, which Scott’s brother, Grant Hutchison, describes as follows: “The Scott Hutchison Fund has been set up in memory of our beloved Scott. It will form the basis for a Mental Health Charity to be set up fully in the coming months. We hope to be able to help others the way Scott did with kindness, empathy and hope.”
