Fur Share Sunny New Single, “Him & Her”
Image courtesy of the artistBritish pop quartet Fur have shared “Him & Her,” the latest single from their forthcoming self-titled debut EP, out on Feb. 14 via Nice Swan Records. “Him & Her” follows their previously released single, “Angel Eyes.”
Over the past few years, Fur have made U.K. audiences swoon with their jangly, British Invasion-influenced pop songs and their latest offering will likely have the same effect. The young band is far more than guitar-pop wunderkinds. Their penchant for classic, infectious pop melodies is unquestionable, and Murray’s vocals are the kind of jaunty croon that make your cheeks turn red, your stomach swell with butterflies and your feet start to twist or tap uncontrollably.
Frontman Will Murray says the song is “about trust and distrust in a relationship. Trying to tell if someone trusts in you and how that can lead to you seeing them in a completely new light. Then, ultimately, the battle of deciding whether you want to be with them anymore.”
