Genesis Owusu Shares Latest Single “Tied Up!”

With his second album, STRUGGLER, arriving on August 18, Ghanaian-Australian singer/songwriter Genesis Owusu has returned with another new single. “Tied Up!” is a slick, distorted, vibrant track that merges funk with hip-hop in technicolor, warped and gauzy precision. “I’m bleeding from my legs, but it’s alright today,” Owusu sings. “It’s better out here than the hell where I stay.” “Tied Up!” follows lead single “Leaving The Light,” and it signals that STRUGGLER will be one of the most electrifying, complex and rewarding records of the summer.
