The lineup for this year’s Glastonbury Festival has been announced, and it features headliners Stormzy, The Killers and The Cure. The eye-popping lineup also includes performances from the Wu-Tang Clan, Tame Impala, Janet Jackson, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Kylie Minogue, Liam Gallagher, Miley Cyrus, Vampire Weekend, Janelle Monáe, Santigold, Rosalía, Johnny Marr, Lizzo, and Kurt Vile & The Violators, among many others.
The festival is returning this year after a fallow year in 2018, which, for those of us who are unfamiliar with farming jargon, is when they periodically take a year off to allow the festival grounds to recover from being trampled by thousands of people.
This year’s performance will mark the fourth time The Cure have headlined the festival, a feat matched only by Coldplay. The Guardian reports that The Prodigy were also set to perform this year but were forced to cancel after the passing of frontman Keith Flint.
