Gorillaz’ Demon Dayz Festival Lineup Will Include Danny Brown, Vince Staples, More

Yesterday, Gorillaz released a teaser video for their Demon Dayz festival that is worth the buzz. The teaser, to the tune of “Saturnz Barz” (from their acclaimed new album Humanz) unveiled the mainstage lineup of Demon Dayz, the band’s own music festival on Oct. 6 in Kent, U.K. Besides Gorillaz, the mainstage lineup includes Vince Staples, De La Soul, Fufanu, Hall By The Sea, Danny Brown, Little Simz, Kali Uchis, Popcaan, Kilo Kish and Gorillaz’s own DJs, Third Stage GSS Soundsystem.

As promised, nearly the entire lineup (minus Fufanu and Hall By The Sea) was featured on Humanz—you’ll have to wait til August, however, for the super deluxe edition of Humanz to hear Little Simz’s Gorillaz collab “Garage Palace.” Of course, we’re feeling major D.R.A.M., Noel Gallagher, Mavis Staples and Pusha T-sized holes in this festival, but it still has a pretty amazing lineup.
