There’s a lot going on in the Gorillaz universe. The band’s newest album The Now Now is arriving shortly, their Demon Dayz Festival is coming to L.A. in the fall with Erykah Badu and The Internet leading the charge, and Murdoc Niccals might still be stuck inside a virtual prison. Now, there’s also a fourth single from the LP to digest.
Gorillaz shared on Thursday the newest track from The Now Now, out June 29 via Warner Bros. Records. The song is called “Fire Flies” and you can listen to it below (or here via the streaming platform of your choosing). Three other singles are have also already arrived: “Humility,” “Lake Zurich” and “Sorcererz.” You can find those here.
The Now Now follows the virtual act’s most recent project, Humanz, which came out last year. The Demon Dayz Festival, which was first hosted last year in Margate, England, is happening in L.A. on Oct. 20, and tickets are on sale now. For tickets and the full lineup, go here.
