Grimes Is Wrapping Up Her New Album and Wants to “Drop All at Once”

It’s been six whole months since Grimes unleashed nu-metal synth-fest “We Appreciate Power,” and the album is finally done. Claire Boucher took to Twitter Thursday to give fans a brief update on the full-length follow-up to her 2015 pop opus, Art Angels.

Albums done but mixing=. Working follow up tho_ But yes, taking my sweet time . Apologies, still recovering. Want to have everything 100% done so I can drop all at once. I’ll mostly be off socials til then thanks for vibes love y’all

The sooner, the better. “Flesh Without Blood” still slaps, but we’re more than ready for whatever she’s cooked up.
