Guns N’ Roses, LCD Soundsystem, Calvin Harris To Headline Coachella 2016

Music News Guns N' Roses

Coachella Music and Arts Festival announced its 2016 lineup last night, and it’s already got us looking forward to the warm weather and warmer vibes the Indio, CA bonanza always provides.

The word of the day is “reunion,” as Guns N’ Roses will be together on the stage for the first time in two decades and LCD Soundsystem regroups after five years off. For the latter, Coachella might be one of several stops on a full-blown reunion tour; their website simply says “2016 tour dates coming soon.” Calvin Harris is the third headliner, repping both EDM and present-day artists.

There’s a plethora of reasons to get excited for the vast undercard, too. 2015 critics’ darlings Sufjan Stevens, Courtney Barnett, and Grimes will all be present, as will such up-and-coming pop acts as Halsey, Years and Years, and The 1975. As usual, the lineup is highly diverse, with seemingly every genre represented. You can check out the full list, including what day each artist is performing, here.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 11 a.m. Pacific, and can be purchased on Coachella’s website.

*UPDATE: LCD Soundsystem is, in fact, making this more than just a Coachella one-off.
