Guster may now have a long history of touring behind them, but there was a time when they were a college band named Gus, hustling for opening gigs when national touring acts came through town at Tufts University. Now they’re the ones touring the country—the band recently celebrated the release of their seventh studio album, Evermotion—but they haven’t forgotten where they came from. For their upcoming fall tour, the band is inviting local high school and college acts to open for them. They’re taking submissions now, and the openers will be announced on Sept. 28.
