GWAR graced us with a planet-side visit in New York’s Second Take studio for a three-song Paste Studio set back in June, and we’re thrilled to share it with the our fellow earthlings today.
Full Session
Coming off a triumphant appearance at Bonnaroo, The Berserker Blóthar, BälSäc the Jaws ‘o Death, Beefcake the Mighty, JiZMak da Gusha and Grodius Maximus kicked off their session with a song of aquatic romance called “Fishfuck” from their 1999 album We Kill Everything, which YouTube has decided is age-restricted, so you can only watch it there.
They reached back even further into the catalog next with “Sick of You” from their second album, 1990’s Scumdogs of the Universe, featuring classic refrain, “Your face is gross/ You eat white toast/ You don’t know what to do/ And just your luck/ You really suck/ And I’m so sick of you.” For an, er, different take on the song, also check out this 2015 A.V. Undercover cover by Sam Beam from our sister site A.V. Club.
