Halsey to Perform at 2016 Nobel Peace Prize Concert
Photos by Frazer Harrison/GettyWith her debut album Badlands recently being certified platinum, Halsey is on a roll. The 21-year-old singer will perform at the 23rd annual Nobel Peace Prize Concert on Dec. 11 in Oslo, Norway, as first reported by Billboard.
The singer will join Norwegian band Highasakite on the stage that has previously hosted acts such as Paul McCartney, Elton John, Alicia Keys, Florence and the Machine, Rihanna and many more.
Olav Njølstad, director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute, said in a press release: “We’re thrilled that Halsey will be joining us in December for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert. Through her music, she’ll be helping share the message of peace to a global audience.”
